Crew Leader, Annual Salary $42,577 - $46,530 (based on qualifications) 40 hours per week M-Th 7:

Our Crew Leaders will be tasked with planning and implementing a variety of construction related projects as well as fuels reduction and defensible space projects within forested Linn and Polk county Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) regions.
Some cross-county collaboration is likely with Marion and Benton Counties.
Duties include; Coordinate, organize and direct site activities for project participants and volunteers.
Coordinate and implement construction projects as needed.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with co-workers, program participants and external project partners through in-person meetings and the effective use of email, text, and phone.
Provide on-site training, education and technical assistance, and feedback to program participants.
Manage supply inventory, purchase equipment and maintain accurate cost records.
Track participant attendance, evaluate performance, and record participant progress.
Educate and engage program participants and community members on work activities.
Responsible for workflow, record keeping, crew timesheets, tools and scheduling routine (or non-routine) vehicle maintenance.
Maintain appropriate safety measures for all work activities.
Maintains a professional and courteous manner and an ability to work harmoniously with other employees, program participants, and the general public.
Regular attendance and punctuality is a requirement of this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with or managing youth crews and a background in construction and/or natural resource management work, and teaching/mentoring youth.
Minimum Required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least three years practical trade experience in vocational education, construction, natural resource management, community development and or public health; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Valid driver's license, maintain minimum liability auto insurance and insurable driving record to operate vehicle on agency business.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
