Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner Check In Patients for appointments-Reviewing demographics, insurance information, etc.
Check Out Patients after appointments- Reviewing provider instructions, scheduling appropriate follow ups and reviewing if referrals are needed.
Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual Reviewing schedules to make sure that all visits are filled for upcoming days.
Scrubbing schedules for patient data prior to appointments-lab results and imaging.
Coordinate and schedule appointments for new patients in both our Albany and Springfield Clinics.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of office equipment and phone systems Epic experience is a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
