We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Victim Advocate.
As a Victim Advocate, you will provide support and assistance to individuals who have experienced trauma or victimization.

Duties:
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to victims of crime or trauma - Conduct assessments to determine the needs and safety of victims - Assist victims in navigating the criminal justice system and accessing available resources - Advocate for victims' rights and ensure their voices are heard - Collaborate with law enforcement, social services, and other agencies to coordinate services for victims - Provide information and referrals for counseling, legal assistance, and other support services - Assist with safety planning and risk assessment for victims in dangerous situations - Document interactions and maintain accurate records of services provided Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Experience working with children, families, or individuals who have experienced trauma - Knowledge of child protective services, child welfare, and behavioral health systems - Strong crisis management skills and ability to remain calm in high-stress situations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion - Conflict management skills to effectively resolve conflicts and manage challenging situations We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our employees.
