## Description
The Inside Sales Consultant's primary responsibility is to sell advertising over the phone to both current and new customers, and increase customer base. This position will focus on calling customers, generating leads, selling Mid-Valley print and online products over the phone and selling special niche products such as our annual Our Town publication, our service directory, group pages and employment sections. In addition, this position will have a supporting role to classified front desk providing back-up for breaks, vacations, customer over-flow and phones, for customers wanting to place miscellaneous classified ads.

## Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate calmly and clearly to resolve customer issues.
Understanding of basic arithmetic, percentages, currency, and subscriber billing.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn additional software programs
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
Ability to sit for long periods of time, stand to assist customers at front desk and use phone to speak with subscribers
Experience in sales, marketing and merchandizing a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
