We are currently looking for an organized, detail-oriented person to assist with the financial procedures and activities at our headquarters in Albany, Oregon. Do you have great data entry, keyboarding, and 10-key skills? Can you maintain strict confidentiality? Do you have experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook? Financial Assistant
This is full-time position reports to the Financial Manager to support the daily processing and monthly procedures of the company financial systems. The Financial Assistant assists with budgets, financial analysis and department financial records as required and requested by the Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supporting bookkeeping and payroll services; assisting with the calculation and preparation of bills, invoices, statements and checks; itemizing credit card transactions; data entry; and general office duties.
Minimum Qualifications
High School degree plus two years of related work experience in an office setting, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Ability to complete large data entry projects.
Satisfactory criminal history check, meeting company policy requirements.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record, meeting company insurance requirements.
Must be able to frequently drive a personal and/or company vehicle locally and/or regionally.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
